Officials told KNO that 44RR camp was attacked by suspected militants in this evening. "Army retaliated, heavy exchange of fire is going on," they added. An army official said that it was an ineffective standoff fire towards Ahagom at 44 RR camp and same was repulsed. "No injuries caused to troops," the official told KNO.
